Again!! This seems to be about once a month now. The little fella is always coming home with a lousy head. The bloody lotion stinks the house out, and, of course, it's dads job :(

Our girls kept coming home with them got really annoyed.
Mrs tried everything but she was told about using Listerine Mouth Wash the blue one, Cool Mint.
She bought an empty spray bottle, and put undiluted mouthwash in it, sprayed it on the head soaking the scalp, put a shower cap on, as that heats it up, letting it dry into the hair.
When its dry rinse with warm water then comb through with a "Nitty Gritty Comb".
The combs are dear but well worth the money, you can get them off ebay or Asda Pharmacy sell them at about £9.99 but they are brilliant :y
After using this mouthwash you should find the Nits are all dead, the Nitty Gritty Comb pulls the eggs out.
You can then make up a weak solution of mouthwash and water spraying it on every other day, this should stop getting them again.

Hope this helps

Just told the wife. She says thanks.  ;D

I really wish she never had head lice though.  :-[

Honestly Martin Denise has tried all the different stuff from the chemist, Ly Clear, Full Marks and stuff she can't remember the names of, all of which she had to sit for back break hours going through strand by strand with tweazers and an ordinary nit conbs. But with this stuff and one of these Nitty Gritty Combs she does none of that. :y

Yep, Cathy has done the same. Seems like the little tinkers become immune to the various pesticides. She has written down your instructions and will give it a try.

I agree with Jaime, we never had this when we were at school. I don't know where they come from. Still, if nothing else the kid's hair won't have bad breath.  ;D

I remember a nurse coming around the primary school checking our hair, but don't actually remember anyone having them. I have always thought people with dirty hair get them but apparently not!
Denise says they are supposed to be bring back the nurse at primary schools :y
