rear coil spring help
« on: 15 April 2009, 22:01:14 »

Ok, MOT yesterday, she went in with a mysterious rattle coming from the rear of the car when driving over rough roads and speed humps, Failed the MOT on front track rod ends which i did and went back for the re-test, all passed ok, Puzzling thing is that i removed the o/s rear wheel to check the newly fitted air shock was nice and tight, and to my surprise i saw that the end of the coil spring had snapped off.

Does anyone know a good supplier of them, are the like quite alot of the 3.2's parts main dealer only, and does anyone know the part number for a rear coil spring on a miggy with self level suspension.

Thanks

Steve

Contact ZF Trading UK Ltd 01788 822855.

Part no. is 25-E49-0 - make sure they check your car registration number and confirm it is for self levelling suspension.

Fitted mine to rears of my elite last week.

You can also try buypartsby for KYB Springs - RJ6227 is for self levelling suspension - I've just fitted two to my 2.6 facelift elite saloon. I paid about £35 each. :y
