Wobble under braking
« on: 20 April 2009, 20:33:40 »

One of the little jobs needed on the new beast is to rectify a wobble under braking only. Doesn't occur all the time and isn't excessive - but there.

Disks and pads all recently changed.

Your views welcome - my immediate thoughts are play in wishbone bushes, track rod ends or wheel bearings?  :y

Isn't it normally the wishbone bushes or the drop links that cause a wobble?

[edit]It might be a clunk ;D ;D I knew I shouldn't have started drinking so early :P[/edit]

You will have to see when you have picked it up. Generally easy to tell if discs or worn suspension/steering.

Had the same problem on mine, replaced the discs, still the same, replaced the wheel bearings was better but then had my tyres checked and found out that the offside rear tyre was bald on the indise :-[ :-[, might be worth checking that James.
