Found behind ashtray unit after taking it out

Also i take it this is a BROKEN catch

It looks to me to be an illumination light for the ashtray :-/

I presumed thats what is was but cant seem to see how or where it fits back into place

If i remember right, it is attached to a flap on my facelift, as you open the ashtray it flips down from the upper part of the facia

That could be it miggy the part you actually put the ash in you mean
No wonder i cant see where it goes on the main unit
