this mig is doing my head in again.

hello all having spent 300 this fortnight on dis pack leads plugs 4 new tyres and tracking, the b-----d thing would not fire on friday night just after i had drove to somerset just returned from the shop and hey presto it would not fire had to get a jump start it turned over fine but wouldnt fire, got it going and then hey presto it happened again this morning just stopped refusing to fire once i had got back in the car and started it up but then got it going and again it was sound as i did the journey back from somerset.  any ideas as i am sick of this car going wrong  >:(

Paperclip it mate - look for a 19 - duff crank sensor.  If there renew with genuine Vx part.

any idea how much that is to replace m8 as i dont wanna splash much more corn on it and is it a major to replace????

Check for the code first to make sure, if you do have a code 19 then it's a doddle to replace, half an hour at most :y

If you get a 19 then replace it.  I paid £43 on TC for a Vx one recently - you need to check which type you need as there are potentially two/three types depending on the year of your car.
