Non Standard Front Grill
« on: 28 May 2009, 22:16:46 »

Evening All

I have a 99/T Elite with the factory fit Irmscher front grill on it.

I would like to put a debadged grill on it. I am not looking at doing much else to the car styling wise, I just like the look of the mesh grills.

I have seen this on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=130308753049&Category=43118&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1

Does anyone know if this will fit the elite type front, and can anyone post a pic of one if they have it on theirs.

It's a pre facelift model (you may know it as 'The Boys' old tractor)

Cheers as ever

Any replacement grill for the same prefacelift Omega should fit, as the Irmscher made Elite grill is mounted in a similar way to the standard grills.

There is a warning in TIS about grills that restrict airflow on the 2.5TD, so just watch out for that :)

Hi
We have this grill fitted to our 96 Elite & it looks exactly as per the ebay photos. Very easy to fit.

The wire mesh type usually will not present any issue whatsoever
