Camshaft Sproket
« on: 30 May 2009, 17:02:26 »

OK, Im sure your all aware of the issues Ive been having with my MV6 however I think I am down to my last problem.

The camshaft sprocket has suffered some damage. The recess where the sprocket sits onto the cam is not level causing the cam to rotate uneven and just about hit the third sprocket.

What do you think could have caused this. My thinking was immediatly that it was not fitted correctly however it is torqued up and fitted ok. Ive replaced the cam as I originally thought this was the problem but now am on an urgent look out for a replacment sprocket. Anyone got any ideas how this has happened??
