faulty omega 2002 auto
« on: 02 June 2009, 10:33:08 »

Can someone provide any assistance into my problem

I bought an Omega 2002 from Ebay 2.2 Auto and it drove very sluggish. Took it to the garage and engine management light had been removed and cam up with a few codes relating to throttle response voltage and a few others surrounding incorrect voltage. 1 day after the car then was only firing off one cylinder not drivable

They said it was the ECU so i got another ECU, immobiliser and chip that was working.

Car still firing off one cylinder and at the garage they still get the voltage incorect however when tested it is right. any help on what could be causing this would be greatly appriciated.

was the fault/s diagnosed with a tech2 reader. If not find someone who has tech2 and importantly the skill to read and interpret the the results - quite a skill.
a couple of members have tech2 if you are near them
update your location as some members may know of a tech2 facility near to you

Nothing is as good as a TechII.

If it's only fireing on one cylinder, have you checked for oil/water in the plug wells?
