2.2DTi dip stick question
« on: 30 May 2009, 16:10:03 »

Would some one who has a 2.2DTi please do me a favour. Would they measure how long the dipstick is for me please? This sounds a daft request, but when i do an oil change (which will be soon) i always put in the required amount according to the hand book, but it's always way too far up the dip stick. The only conclusion i can think is that i may have the wrong dip stick :-/ The over all length is fine. Thank you :y
I know there's no there's no oil left in the engine as i leave to drain for ages, i've also measured what's come out so if your thinking there's some left in :)

Daft question but do you also change the oil filter?  and start the motor after you put oil in and then check it. (told you it was a daft question)
