Hi, can u check the timing without the locking tools, just to make sure the belt hasnt jumped a tooth?

yes you can. need to take off front cover line up crank and cams and you will seen if is corecct :y

that will only show its approximately near, though probably good enough to show it hasn't jumped a tooth...
