removing electric seats
« on: 29 June 2009, 16:56:39 »

I am trying to remove the electric seats from my old car which went on fire (engine bay)
now the problem is i cant get access to the rear bolts on the seats   since i cant power them up due to wiring damage under the bonnet  is there any other way to get them out ?

You need the little sunroof/seat handle which fits into the back of the motor from the rear of the seat

before I worked out the wiring when fitting my electric seats I used a set of jump leads to position the drivers seat - it should be easy to find the positive and negative feeds and conect them to an external battery and move the seats
