over the past day or two been getting a littel tyre squeal on the front drivers side when going round this one round about. checked tyres seem ok getting low but over 3mm. Was at WIM 3 months ago so tracking and camber should be good and car is not tramlining  or driffing . Could it just be the heat or anywere to look.

If the tyres squeal at low speed on smooth tarmac (like a typical Tesco etc car park) I would also check tyre pressures.

 One of the many reasons i gave up ridding bikes on the road. Can think of a couple round here that where lethal on a bike. But never had squeal from a car on the road, except in a car park. One in particular, every single car will squeal. The tarmac is polished to a shine its that worn. Rub your foot on it and its noticeably more slippery.

I beleive there is a certain grip level all roads must comply to. Sounds like your roundabout may not meet that level. Do other cars do the same on that piece of road?

Not checked but it happens at the same spot on each time ,which is where there was a time when a car would skid into a wall over the road about 2 times a month so may be down to the road as the car has never done this before

There's a roundabout on the way to work that's been slippery the last couple of weeks. Tarmac surface seems to have melted and gone smooth. Had the Westfield understeering quite alarmingly on it the other day. It's never done that before. 

Normally it's the back end that's wayward.

I suppose the local authority will soon resurface sprinkle some gravel on it and expect me to roll it in with my car while the bodywork goes to pot.

Yer Kevin they did the same on our road about 8 months ago, now with the heat and the gravel gone it,s like driving in a  tar pit as you come up to the house  .
