Fast idle adjustment?

Can the fast idle be adjusted? I ask as i changed my ICV as the one i had idled terrible, all over the place now the one i have replaced it for idles great..... apart from first thing in a morning when the car will not tick over at all!

That sounds like you have a prob with the cold start system.

My guess would be the coolant temp sensor. AFAIAA there's no specific cold start system eg an extra injector etc

CTS was changed a while back, is that the only thing it could be? Suppose its not the dearest of parts to just change!

Just weird how the last ICV i had would idle real high one mornings but just didnt sit right ever, now this one that seems to idle great, doesnt like the cold!

Did a little reading, the CTS adjusts the ammount of fuel, and timing to suit when the engine is cold, doesnt mention anything about idle speed when cold. Would the TPS be at fualt without there even being a code flashing up?
