Clicking Noise
« on: 09 July 2009, 20:38:56 »

Ok I think I have found what the clicking noise is on my V6 3.0.

After a week or two of listening to this clicking noise getting louder I have also noticed a increased drop in power on the bottom end of the revs which disapears as soon as it gets to 3500revs. On checking tongiht the noise is definatly coming from the drivers side manifold or so we thought. It actually looks like its coming from the downpipe joint and not the joint onto the engine itself.

I know when I did the rebuild that it did not come with new gaskets for the downpipe.

My question is, are these gaskets readily available or are they a specialist part that I need to order from vx??
