Is this Crank sensor or worse??
« on: 14 July 2009, 03:23:16 »

Hey everyone,
Had my omega for just over a week now 1st had a problem with the Cooling Fan thats sorted was just the 40A fuse,

Problem now is Just filled up with fuel driving back home and suddenly the car just died engine cut out and all lights came on! Restarted 1st time then did it again 2 mins later have tried the paperclip test! but all that seems to do is make the engine management light turn off it doesnt flash or anything :(

have left the car running for about half hour and it seems ok no drop in revs or anything then took it for a spin round the block for about half a mile and it was fine

Any help?

Thanks

Dont Know if it will work but try the pedal trick.
it might of just been an air lock in the fuel sys.

I have now driven 30 miles in the car and its not done it again maybe it was just a air lock  in the fuel sys
