Exhaust manifold ?
« on: 16 July 2009, 15:04:43 »

Got a 'tick' when i first start up,goes after a minute or two.Man in garage where i had MOT this pm recons probably crack in exhaust manifold recons i should just ignore it as it may cost loads to repair.
Anyone any ideas what it might cost ? Should i just not worry about it or is it likely to get a lot worse ?

It's a long job, big labour cost. I would ignore it if you can't DIY.... ::)

if its the manifold it could be expensive, or it might just be that the gaskrt has blown which is not that much. either way the mani has to come off so i would stick the car on ramps and try to find the leak then you Know for sure.
