car tax ???

  hi all ,im thinking of getting another estate ,on a 53, 2.2
 just wondering what the car tax price is b4 i buy it !!

£210 per year, new tax rules apply to post March 2006 cars.

Pre 2001 its £190 for that engine

Hi, tax for 6 month is £104.50 and a full year is £190.

i thought that all the omegas after march 01 was £400 tax  :-/

Most Omega emissions are in excess of 225g/kg CO2 which fall outside of band K £210 pa now £245pa 2010. As a temporary measure, the govt. has grouped all Omegas into band K and this is likely to be reviewed in 2011

Were the hell do you all get the prices from????
I,ve never heard of any of these higher prices, I heard that Only 4x4s the price was going up, what it hasnt.

2.2 dti 2002 £118.25 for 6months or £215.00 for 12 months  ,2.5v6 1999 £104.50 for 6 months or £190.00 for 12 months suppose there due to change upwards again next year  :'(

The figures are from the Directgov web site.

From April 2010, already registered higher emitting cars will be charged up to £30 more and lower emitting cars will be charged up to £30 less.

C       111-120             £30
D       121-130             £90
E       131-140             £110
F       141-150             £125
G       151-165             £155

I       176-185             £200

*Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006.

What you will pay if your car uses alternative fuel such as electricity or gas
Alternative fuel cars include gas-propelled vehicles, and those capable of being propelled by petrol and gas or electricity and petrol/diesel.

All cars pre 2001 stays the same over 2,000cc

OMEGAS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY NEW TAX BRACKETS. MAX COST FOR ANY OMEGA IS £245 YEAR FOR POST 2001
