difference between 2.5 and 3.0 heads?
« on: 23 September 2009, 12:19:13 »

is the difference between 2.5 and 3.0 heads simply the badge on the side that tells you which engine size it is? or is there a physical difference? reason i ask is that i am looking for 3.0 heads but some recon 2.5s have come up that could be of use if there is no actual difference? would need to mate to a 3.0 block.

2.5 heads on a 3.0 block increases the comp ratio other way round it lowers it ! and the 3.0 heads have sodium filled ex valves  :y
