steering problems
« on: 27 September 2009, 21:22:56 »

over the last few days i've had trouble with the power steering on my miggy. when i need to move the steering during tight parking situations or even backing off the drive it seems to get very stiff for a few seconds. it only does this when i first start the car. After that its seems ok. i.ve checked the fluid and around the pump for leaks and all seems ok. Is it the pump?

its probably never been done in 132K miles. What sort of fluid is in there? Is it the same as auto gearbox fluid? any idea how much it takes?
