Ok this is a question for a friend down south.

He has a 1999 T reg 2.5 V6. He is having issues with his climate which appear a little strange to me.

Some days it works ok, but others it does the following:

Start engine, put fans on runs ok and gets up to temp, however reduce temp slightly and it goes stone cold and wont increase. Its the electric climate setup. Asked if he had checked hoses and he says they are all warm except for the lower main hose into the radiator that is only luke warm.

At first I thought a blockage but then he said that he has not running temp issues as it sits around the 95 mark and he had just done a 100mile journey so if there was a problem I would have thought  that would have shown it up. He recons its been doing this for around 6 months but needs to sort it with winter coming.

Any ideas anyone???
