2.6 manifolds on a 2.5
« on: 20 October 2009, 19:52:15 »

Please can somone confirm, if the 2.6 manifolds are a direct fit to a 2.5 (obviously the SAI will be gone)

I know they'll fit the heads OK, but will the 2.5 downpipes/cats fit?

Lastly - if doing some porting and 3.0 cams in a 2.5 - is there any value to also fitting the larger 2.6 manifold?

they do fit and they flow more freely.

You do need to cut the flange that the front pipe gasket sits around down by about 5mm

Cheers Mark

Do you think the improvements will be worthwhile?

Oh - and is it necessary to port the exhaust outlets on the head, as well as the inlets?
