whistling sound -td

IanD noticed that there was a distinct noise from the front whilst engine was running. its now developed into a high pitch squeal when accelerating - no coolant or oil loss  :-/

It's perfectly normal for the turbo to have a whistle noise.

However, to eliminate the power steering pump being at fault, (or any other auxiliaries), remove the drive belt then run the engine.
See where you go from there.
