does anybody know the best place to get the drivers seat heat pads from
and is it a pain to change

would check your wire that runs to the back, kids pulled mine of with there feet, buger to put back on again. :y

Is it worth just taking the seat to a trimmers if its leather. :-/

Not really as the heater pad is stiched into the leather. Best bet is get a set from cloth/velour seats and just add them underneath the leather squabs.
