Sounds like the arms that control the plates that direct the air may have popped off. Need to look up the back of the CC and see if the arms move when you make selections.... not easy to see   :(

press "auto" and "off" together for 5 seconds.  Do you hear the motors cycling and the fan stop/restart ??

Best to do this with the ignition ON but the engine not running .

Thats not good ... if "Auto + off" does not cycle/reset the CC it could be the panel is FUBARed ....   :(

Where in the world are you ?? (stick your location in your profile .. saves the question being asked every time !1)

You might be near someone with a tech2 who can look at/try a software update perhaps .. :(

Just read your other post .. methinks you have some power distribution problems !! might be the cause of this as well.

If you've just had the battery of for charging .. make sure you've put it back on right !!  Check that both terminals remain cold whilst in use .. if they get even warm it is a bad contact.  Use a jump lead and conect the earth (0V, -ve) terminal directly to the engine .. the lifting lug is a good point. If this improves things you have an earth problem that needs sorting.

With the engine running check the voltage at the battery .. should be around 14.4-14.7 volts. with the engine off and 1/2 an hour allowed for it to settle .. should be around 12.6-13.0

Poor electrics will cause many, many weird problems.
