got the gasket from vauxhall but didnt check breathers. there is one that goes from rocker cover to engine block, its been replaced cos it was cracked, what other ones are there.
just remembered... when i put the front section of exhaust on i noticed that there was a slight difference, there was a small silecer on the old pipe coming down from the manifold that wasnt on the new one, would that cause any probs.
the code reader and software i bought seems quite good but as i dont know what the readings should b a lot of it is of no help.

just looked up the spec on my exhaust using software i have, it seems the small silencer thing that was on my old exhaust but not the new one is another cat. it says its equipped with starting and main catalytic converters! wondering if this is causing a problem with the sensor.

Yeah it has two cats ... the one near the manifold and the main cat underneath the car ... i managed to find a replacement with the two cats but i cant remember where i got it from .  On original set up the first O2 sensor is before the first cat and the second O2 sensor is just after the first cat ... the main cat then cleans up the rest .... i had a long saga with this a while ago hence why i jumped at the chance of getting my hands on the original type with two cats ... cheap copies only have the one main cat underneath the car .. i did get it on ebay but i cant find where at the moment .... there is also a long thread on here about moving the second O2 sensor behind the second cat to cure it but didnt work for me .... this is probly useless information but i hope it helps in some way  and i'll let you know if i find where i got mine :y
