Following on from an earlier post by omegatdi of I decided to look for the locking nut for the miggy....(as some of you know, bought a few months back).... and can't find it anywhere.... :(..

Here is a pic of one of the locking nuts.... is this a VX locking nut or an aftermarket one?

yup, check for a box in the boot that will have the key, if its not there, should be a number in the box.

Once removed, throw the bloody things away, and use standard bolts. No one wants to nick standard Vx Omega alloys

Tunnie is bang on - do what I did and get rid of the pain in the ass ones from GM. One day you will find that they have become damaged because you cannot keep the wheelbrace straight onto them and it will not undo at any cost. If they do you cannot chisel the anti tamper collar either and it results in mega bucks to sort by getting a bolt welded onto the head to get a socket on.
The OEM allies are crap anyway and no-one in their right minds will swipe them.

It gets better and better.... no box in the boot behind the right trim....  >:(

Have emaield a pic to evo automotive to get the correct key.

Not sure if your car has the same, but on mine there is a small drop-down stowage box in the dash to the right of the steering column - that's where my key was.

And yes, I have also got rid of my old Vx locking bolts....
