Spare Pipe
« on: 17 February 2010, 17:12:20 »

Right I did a Crank Breather clean today. Took Plenum off and noted a hose coming from the back of the engine going to nothing.

While refitting everything I had a good look round and can not see for the life of me where it could go. It is definately attached to the engine down the back somewhere. Pipe is of harder material than that of the Plenum breather hose. I blew down it and got a pressured resisitance.

Any Clues.  :-/

Car runs fine

As rusty said .. autobox vent pipe ... should be positioned so the end is pointing DOWN to prevent any water geting inside, its usually clipped up right at the back under the scuttle.
