Cigarette Lighter Socket not working.

I kinda shorted it out cleaning the connection as it was a little oxidised and made intermitant connection.  Forgot the ignition was on.  Anyhow.  it sparked and I assume the fuse has blown but can I find it anywhere???   no!   Both the front and the rear lighter socket now down't work and I can't find the fuse.  None seem to be blown!

Might be more than just your lighters not working !!

Fuse #14

14 Power steering,
Vauxhall alarm system,
cigarette lighter,
rear window blind,
electronic air conditioning,
heated rear window,
heated front seats,
heated wiper jets


30 Amp fuse BTW

Awesome!   I guess that's not clear on the flip down lid...
That's worked.   Tho' the lights for the Heated seats were coming on.  would they?  but the seats just not heat? 
Anyhow, it's fixed my issue.  I was looking for a 10amp.  the picture for fuse 29 shows what looks like a lighter/accessory...  Strange.

Oh and BTW it was all worth it.  the clean up made a difference.  Constant power to stuff rather than it turning on and off whenever i hit a bump...

Yes; the small lights for each switch, button, etc, are powered independently from the actual devices they control.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

it's the bit right at the end where the pointy bit of an accessory would fit.  I used some Electrical contact cleaner and a cotton bud and also a bit of rag rolled up soaked in it and twisted in there.
Then to get the stubborn stuff off, the end of a flat screwdriver to scrape it back to clean metal.  But please turn off the key or you will short it....  :D

Cool.
One odd thing, since blowing this fuse, I now have the error "Check" on my display.   No EML.  Can I see what this is using the PaperClip test?
