Stripping out dash
« on: 15 March 2010, 12:58:01 »

Sorry for asking again, but does anyone know how to strip out the dash. I need to get to the evaporator and need to know how much to take out.

Anyone stripped it out before?

Thanks

Glovebox out. Move wiring harness away. Remove air ducting. Disconnect vac hose& remove air recirc valve. Unplug connector  to blower motor resistor then remove screws holding motor & remove. Undo solenoid valves on evaporator housing Six screws securing evap. cover Unbolt retaining plate, unbolt expansion valve then withdraw evap from air distribution unit :o :o Best of luck. Oh yes, make sure A/C is degassed :D
