How can i adjust bonnet lever
« on: 21 March 2010, 18:42:20 »

when i pull the bonnet catch i have to pull it all the way up as far as it can go before it will release the bonnet, some time i dont think its gonna release

already read the adjust bonnet in help/manuals
but i dont see how moving the casing/housing to the wire will adjust how far i have to pull the handle

one end is linked to a bar that when pulled releases the bonnet
the other end linked to the handle
but nowhere is there any adjustable nuts bolts i can adjust the lenth of the wire

please any help, and yes before now the most ive done is change a wheel and drive cars, lol :D
cheers :y

Remove the plastic cover over the slam panel, between your headlights, & you'll see where the cable outer is clamped to the slam panel. Slacken the clamp, slide the cable outer over .... can't think now whether it's left or right, but you're effectively shortening the outer ..... and reclamp.  :y

Because the lever in the cabin pulls the inner relative to the outer.
