« on: 30 March 2010, 18:49:43 »

hello to all.many thanks to the common issue posts which have helped me iron out a few problems quickly.however cannot find anything on this subject.i assume the interference with the radio is due to the proximity of the shark fin ariel. any suggestions where to dig first?

Check the "wires" in the window ... if there is a tiny break then the current will arc across and cause interference, not sure about omega ones but you used to be able to repair breaks with conductive paint.

Also check the connections to the aerial amp under the parcel shelf .. loose connection there wil have the same efect

its usually a broken element to find it boil kettle and put it on rear shelf switch on rear demister  and when the rear steams up you will see if its broke then as sugested use conductive silver paint
