steering got a mind of its own

hi all i need some help my 2000 omega wants to steer its self. ive changed the idler arm there is still some play in the bracket that is bolted to the body dose anyone know the name of this part and how much a replacment would be please. :(

unusual for that to fail :o

Is there vertical movement in the arm?

yes there is mate what dose this me. i got the idler arm of ebay new so could it be a duff one? :-?
