Just wanted to post A BIG THANKYOU to CaptainZok & his crew for looking at my car yesterday  :y
No fault codes found. Found oil in no.6 spark plug & the plug was also knackered!
Told me the camcover gaskets need replacing & the Cat's are buggered - but apart from that everythings hunky dora!
Trouble is the cars STILL misfiring (even more so now!) so back to the drawing board  :'( :'( :'(
UNLESS ANYONE'S GOT ANY IDEAS  ::) ::) ::)!!!

Just stuck this in another thread.. might might equally apply here .. :

If the plug wells were full of oil it is posible the leads themselves have been damaged, hot oil and rubber don't sit well together ( no pun intended  :)  )

And long term misfiring can cause the dispack to fail...as can water ingress through the gap between the 2 scuttle parts

Many thanks for that. How much would it cost to replace the HT leads if done by a garage?  :-/

Alot depends on if you have Vauxhall leads which are £200 plus depends on how much the garage want to take your pants down.....
Halfords sell Bosch leads if I remember rightly for about £60 but they are long enough to be continued :o It isn't to bad of a job Tony Gnome (Zok Jnr) will be able to fix you up there no problem :y
