hi to all.have just contacted my nearest vauxhall dealer(BANBURY)TO BE TOLD its going to cost £123 +vat for one bank of my 98 elite 3.0,this seems very high.is this right.where can i get some leads that will not cripple my pocket.all input welcome

Genuine leads are pretty dear from dealer.  Not sure how much they are at trade, which I could get for you at Banbury.

Sure others will be along shortly with other options.

Which bank is it, as I may have some 2nd hand ones in Brackley, but couldn't guarantee their condition. Certainly lead 3 is past its best.

need all 6 but i hung up after i herd the first price.the offer of tc to get leads sounds good.tell me more.

See if anyone else has an alternative pattern that works well, as even at trade (not TC item), I seem to recall they are dear.

Think Bosch do some, from memory, don't 'fit' quite as well.

I found some pattern ones from a local motor factors for around £40~odd, IIRC.

Called round all sorts of places, and these guys came up with the winning quote - only fitted to one bank, couldn't be bothered with t'other (had to replace the ones I did, but the other side seemed fine...)
