My 2.0 16v omega is not running properly. Help!
« on: 19 April 2010, 15:01:36 »

The tick over on my omega is lumpy, sometimes revs up to 2000 rpm by its self  exhaust smells like it is running rich and is really heavy on fuel.

Have just paper clipped it and I am getting these fault codes.

1690
0130
0100

Has anybody got any idea what the problem might be?  Thanks in advance.

Disconnect the MAF and see if it runs better

Disconnected maf and it ticks over smoother but still revs its self between 1200 and 1500 rpm sometimes after I have blipped the accelerator.

I also forgot to mention that it will tick over on gas but if accererator is pressed it bogs down and has no power. It does this with maf both connected and un plugged.

All sorted now, it turned out to be caused by two vaccum pipes that had somehow come off. I put them back on and EML is now off and car is running well on both gas and petrol.
