Temp gauge not working

Hello my fans and friends,since i have got my motor going again the temp gauge is not working for some reason,i noticed when i had to tow the car the temp gauge went of the scale and then dropped again,would i have disturbed a sensor when refitting the plenum?? :-/

probably - a single connector on the coolant bridge, under plenum :y

Cheers,will check it out.Also what are the two 40 amp fuses for in the engine bay compartment
