« on: 29 April 2010, 22:04:33 »

hi guys, my ashtray light/bulb has blown and i got another one but i cant get the other one out, ive taken out the ash tray part but the fold down part i cant removed and i cant possibly remove the bulb with that part of plastic in the way, i cant see how to remove the damn thing if it can infact be removed, if it cant i honestly cant see how to change the bulb, ive tried with a pair of needle nosed pliars but the angle is wrong and its just silly lol, any help as always is greatly appreciated guys, thanks

On facelift models, remove the centre tray using clip to right side. At the rear of the main unit, there is a central retaining screw (torch handy!). Remove the screw and pull the complete ashtray out. The cigarette lighter is an integral 'plug in' item which makes removing the unit feel tight.
Did this a few weeks ago so I could fix my ciggy lighter ;-)
