De-badge and Replace...
« on: 11 May 2010, 07:40:25 »

Hi all!

I have just received my new Irmscher steering wheel and gear knob in polished wood effect! I would replace the Opel badge on the steering wheel with an "i" badge that I have received too. How can I do? Is the Opel badge glued?

Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure you can, I would try removing the badge from one in a scrap yard first before trying to remove the one from my sterring wheel airbag

I can try to remove mine after unmount my original steering wheel but don't know how... I'm afraid to hurt the airbag!

I replaced a Griffin on my Facelift airbag. Just go carefully.  :-/

Ok, I have removed the chrome opel badge but it was engraved on the black plastic behind! I must now to find another round black plastic for stick on the old one and then stick the "i" badge on it... Or any other ideas?
