When at work don't say "I'm trying to give up" .. you are NOT .. you are now a "non-smoker" ... or an "ex-smoker"  .. be positive .. you no longer smoke... :)

Keep it up Pete i am Proud of you, and dont be disheartened when the scales start to show more, its only until your metabolism gets back to normal.
This has turned out to be the major reason why some people light up again.

best of luck pete, my sister in law gave up 18 months ago and she said that the thing to do, as has already been said, tell people that you "no longer smoke, thank you" and when you have said that and your mind hears that you will not go back. :y
