Not had a chance to look under the car yet but had to brake very hard yesterday evening

and noticed a loud knock from O/S/F.

Noticed I've got a slight pull to the left under moderate/hard braking now... Shall I run a poll on the cause?

My money is on a knackered wishbone bush... They were £50 (pair) ebay cheapies just over 2 years ago so not done badly really

I had exactly the same symptoms on mine and it was the wishbones. Pulled strongly to the left under braking and the steering wheel would turn in your hands. Really unnerving as you had to steer away from the verge under braking and then steer again as you reduced braking pressure.

My £35 cheapies on Fleabay lasted just a few thousand miles, but that was because I tightened all the bolts before putting the wheels back on and lowering it back onto the ground. Pls don't make that mistake if you tackle the job yourself.

Yep... I'm expecting the wishbone bushes to be shot... But after 2 years on cheapies (which I may well have torqued with the wheels off the ground, I can't remember

) I can't really complain
