Normal identification is by the shape of the plug and its location.

Oval or oblong mounted at the end nearest center of the heads...alternative is plug located in the side....only 3 variables.

From my experience  with the 2 Omegas I have owned, the plug on the dispack is the same shape as that fitted to the crank sensor plug .Bosch are the manufacturer.

Does yours require renewing then ?

This is the one off my '98 2.5:

The only part number I could find on it is on the top between pins one and three:

The number reads 0221503017

That number is a Bosch part number, and any motor factor will be able to cross it to whatever supplier they use. As will Google, or probably Ebay.
