Manual seats to Elite seat wiring
« on: 27 May 2010, 11:41:07 »

Can anyone shed any light on how this is done? The Elite seats are fully electric with the memory function, they are going into a MV6 with manual seats, Thx Lee

Another update!! testing was done outside of the vehicle, when I put the seat into the car I found that after the wires were bridged that they didn' even need a separate +ve supply or -ve ground, so the job was much much easier than I first thought. Anyway hats off to the OOF ;)

Hi Lee,

A quick question, did you have the additional loom for the mirrors already in the MV6?

No, he won't. Only Elites have this loom, and its challenging to retrofit, and not worth it for the limited gain (and you would need to change to elite mirrors)

That's a shame, my wife is a fair bit shorter than me, the mirrors to go with memory seats would have been perfect!
