2.2dti heater matrix

How common is it for the heater matrix to go on the facelift,and were is the HBV on the 2.2dti is it in the same place.

the hbv is at the drivers side just behind the headlight light and down,easy to see and i would image a pleasure to change compared to a v6 hth :y :y :y

all so, i think the diesel omegas have different hbvs,when mine went on my 2.5td the parts bloke said he never sold a diesel one before, i broke mine by doing stupid speed on a long journey :y

Thanks Charlie I did ask at the dealers and yes it is different than the V6's but there system had it placed on the lefthand side of the block 3/4's back that's the N/S of the car. You said yours was 2.5 that's the BMW engine and this is the 2.2dti so which one are you saying that it's by the head light on. :-?

the 2.2 is down by the driver side headlight, :y :y

In that case it's not the HBV that has a leak. I am now thinking it's the o'seal that I have done twice now and is at the back of the block N/S of car hose that goes from oil cooler to block for cooling will have to get the seal first sod of a job but only cost 70p.
