Cold start woe
« on: 18 July 2010, 08:48:01 »

Car is starting to need a couple of attempts and just about catches.

Same symptoms as when previous crank sensor was on it's way out, changed a few months ago for a gen vx one. Clipped the car with no faults recorded!

Whats the best place to start ahunting for the prob, will be changing the plugs but am curious about the dis pack and the symptoms of that failing?

perhaps a check list of where else to look / check may be useful

I would be checking for fuel leaks and insuring service items are all ok as a starter e.g. fual filter etc.
