N.Ireland Omegas
« on: 14 July 2010, 18:29:59 »

Ok, i dont really post much but this has been doing my nut in for a few weeks now. Ive had hundreds of omegas over the last 7 years, the majority of them 3.0 mv6 saloons, generally in cop spec. Ive raced them and won trophies, won drifting competitions in them, driven countless ones on the road, from the 'dubiously' mot'd to the absolutely stone mint variety, and probly in every concievable colour. I can strip them blindfolded and on very rare occasions i can reassemble them. Currently im driving a gorgeously tatty but oh so reliable 1995 2.5td elite estate which ive put nearly all of the desirable bits into, grey leather mv6 carbon fibre trims in the doors and centre console (cos plastic wood is hideous) xenons facelift elite alloys, lsd, even got the aircon working after it was removed post accident in 04, but i can complete the look because nobody on this side of the pond has a boot spoiler for an estate!!!!! Im falling over saloon spoilers but for love nor money can i find an estate one. Is there anybody in N.I that has one and would part with it? HELP!!!!! :y :D

This James?  Hi fella

I got it on running the cams in atm few things to fix, check and tidy up. but could do with having you put it on the computer to check as eml is on. prob with immobliseras well i think but im just gona put a switch on it for the time being as a live to the starter gets it going.

re: boot spoiler i promised it to my mate ages ago so i will check if he still want it or not. If not then you can take it ns.

no real difference to drive as the torque is so low down, never really need to rev it above 3k, although cruising speed at 3000rpm has increased very slightly from 80 to about 86 or 87 going by the satnav, its an absolute blast to drive on a wet road but you need to be quick with the gearchanges, ive 206k on the clock and dont want to kill it yet, but she'll wiggle her bum right up to 4th given the appropriate amount of rain, far better than any mv6 i ever had :y
