Removal of seat and steering wheel

What do you need to be careful of when removing front seats, and steering wheel from an 2002 omega

Please let me know.

Depending on skill level.

OUTSIDE CAR

Door Mirrors
Rear Lights
Heaf lughts
Fog Lights
Front and rear Spoilers
4 doors
Boot and bonnet.
Grill
Roof aeriel if they have them
Tow bar

UNDER BONNET

Header tank
Air box
ABS ECU
If you can.  engine and gearbox - keep as complete as possle.
PS Pump
Dis packs
cruise control

Plenty more but will leave for other to add.

INSIDE CAR.

Seating and door cards if leather
Wood trim on dak
radio/cd/sat nab
computer screen
sunroof if fitted
dash panal unit /swtiched
climate control
head light cluster switch

The seats are straight forward enough, just remember to disconnect the wiring harness from under the seat, may be easier to unclip the whole assembly before releasing the individual connectors. Also don't turn on the ignition with the seats disconnected, you will put on the airbag light and will have to have it re-set via "My Naff Code Reader".

The steering wheel, if your not using a 'puller', then be careful it doesn't smack you in the nose when it comes free!

It looks like Mr. Skruntie is providing a list of all the parts that would be worth keeping, if a car was being scrapped...
