Yes it does. If you feel from the blue labelled pipe it's 1/2" below it or follow the pipe back from the HBV. If you take the undertray from the drivers footwell you will see the 2 pipes coming in :y

Thanks think i should be ok now and will hopefully have a heater by the end of the day. I also cleaned out my bulkhead drain yesterday a job ive been putting off,glad i did it now it was well blocked (no more water into heater from pollen filter) Thanks in advance again Chris.

Finally managed to find the orofice that the pipe fits into.Must have pulled it when i changed fuel filter in june.What a stupid idea for a connector,Thanks again for the help i am getting pretty good at working on the engine now most things are tight to work on but have got the knack now. 8-)

Glad you're getting there :y I have to agree that there is less room in a TD engine bay than the V6's!

Well the pipe is still connected but i still do not seem to have vacuum at the heater(i remember hearing a sucking noise when changing from screen to floor etc before but not now) I think the flaps inside the heater box work off the vacuum so i must have a stuck flap, will have to investigate.

Well it looks like all of the vac pipes are ok,i removed the glove box yesterday to check the passenger side of the heater box and all seems ok,Then i had a think and wondered if there was a fuse for the hheater controls,looked in the book and it could be fuse no14 will have to investigate.
