o/s mirror glass
« on: 11 September 2010, 14:39:47 »

Quick question for anyone who may know.  I've just had my o/s mirror clouted by a gentleman.  A bit annoying as I was parked literally in a ditch yet he still managed to use enough of the road to clout me, but seeing as I thought I was going to wave bye-bye to a couple of doors at one point I reckon I got off lightly!

I got his details etc, and he did offer to give me some money there and then but I refused as I prefer to do things properly and not get caught out with any tall tales being told.  So I need a replacement glass (the housing is fine as the knock was at quite low speed).  I've seen them on ebay for a tenner with backing plate and heating element, but before I start getting all clicky I thought I would check first if anyone had other ideas on sourcing a replacement?

£25 would get you a complete mirror, if purchased from me...
