Whilst I appreciate your members' desire to partake in an Oat and Honey based snack with your morning beverage, I am not authorised to negotiate on the HobNob request. I have, however, been authorised to make a concession on behalf of the senior management and offer you Custard Creams in substitution. Please understand that this is a non negotiable offer and, if rejected, will result in the withdrawal of all baked snack products during the current negotiations.

Darren at work gets biscuits - normally some odd Dutch cholate things - but a packet of Mc Vities Chocolate Digestives arrived once - I ate 3/4s of them.

Look, I didn't want to be a manager you know.  :'( My parents always dreamed that I'd work in a call centre some day but I just didn't make the grade. With my lack of qualifications and experience, management was the only avenue left open to me.  :'(

I keep applying for jobs in the local tourist industry but I just don't stand a chance. Please help.  :-[ :-[ :-[ :'( :'(

You seem to be a decent sort with a degree of compassion and thought for others so your never going to make it in management.
Have you thought of a career in a less demanding role, flower arranging for example, or failing that see if the HR department have any vacancies.
