Shock Absorbers
« on: 05 October 2010, 18:48:25 »

I am planning to replace my front shocks, should i stick to vauxhall ones or are there better ones?
If the coil springs are okay, is it safe to leave them as is?

Coil springs, if in good nick, can be retained.

I would consider Bilstein B4's from balance motor sport (call them, mention the forum and ask for a discount). as they are a similar price to VX.

Its worth popping the top bearings out whilst doing this job, cleaning the ball bearings, greasing them and re-assembling.
